Vern Kauffman – Chief Operations Officer
A tenacious and visionary leader with a talent for anticipating issues and opportunities ahead of others and a constant drive for perfection
with more than 20 years of senior-level leadership and a proven record of results within the second-stage automotive manufacturing industry.
Vern is an avid fan of NASCAR, Harley Davidson motorcycles, antiques and studying history. He has been married to his wife Kimberly Kauffman for over 32 years and is the father of 2 children, grandfather of 2, and owner of 3 dogs.
Vern holds extensive working relationships with companies like MB USA, Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, General Motors,
Lincoln Mercury and Toyota.
A.J. Joseph DiBiagio is the General Manager Meridian Specialty Vehicles– Las Vegas. Joe has worked in the automotive industry for over 30 years. His expertise in second stage manufacturing and operations both in start-ups and existing Fortune 500 companies have led raised levels of competency in the organization through empowerment, communication and time based management.
In Joe’s spare time you will find him riding his pedal bike long distances and racing. His other passions include cooking, wine tasting, and hockey which he has coached for over thirty years.
Glen Henderson – Vice President, Franchise Dealer Sales
Glen Henderson is the Vice President of Sales for Meridian Specialty Vehicles, Inc. Glen was formerly a top producer for a Fortune 200 Company that had sales in Excess of $14 Billion Dollars annually. Prior to that he was the President & CEO of a major specialty vehicle manufacturer.
Glen holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Computer Science and is a graduate of Liberty University. He is a U.S. Army Veteran and served for 5 years at the Pentagon in the Information Systems Command where he held a Top Secret Security Clearance.
Glen has 2 children and spends his time between his home in Yukon, OK and the company headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Kevin Kropf, Eastern Region Sales Manager
Kevin Kropf has joined Meridian Specialty Vehicles, Inc. and will be responsible for sales in the Eastern region of the US. With 25 years in the bus industry, working in customer service and sales, his knowledge of the product along with his personality will bring him much success with our team.
Kevin is based out of Northern Indiana and has been married to his wife Sherrie for 25 years. He has three married children, a grand-daughter and 2 grandsons. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, riding his Harley and spending time with friends and family.
Dan Clutterham has joined Meridian Specialty Vehicles Inc. and will be responsible for sales in the western region of the US.
With his 20 years experience selling exotic, classic cars and high end diesel motor coaches in the retail field. Territory manager for major West coast manufactures in the high-end coaches. Dan’s motivation, loyalty, energy and passion for the product I represent is a perfect match for Meridian Specialty Vehicles Inc.
Based in Bend Oregon loves to spend time in the outdoors golfing, fishing and riding his Harley thru the Cascade Mountains. But best of all spending time with my son Jordan my daughter Danielle and my grandson Tucker.
Elizabeth Edwards – Program Manager
Elizabeth Edwards is the Program Manager of Meridian Specialty Vehicles, Inc. Elizabeth’s brings to Meridian Specialty Vehicles an extensive skill set in project management, account management, customer support, and product marketing. Prior to that, Elizabeth managed prime manufacturing and GSA contracts and provided customer account management as the Director of Business Management for Orbit One Communications, a division of Numerex.
Elizabeth is based out of Whitehall, Montana where she resides with her husband and 2 children.She enjoys riding horses both back country and in the arena, hunting, 4 wheeling and camping.
Originally from southern California, Tony brings 26 yrs experience from dealership as well as independent automotive repair and heavy equipment and railroad remanufacturing experience.
While his time with a major southern California dealership tony was awarded a seat on the president’s council for customer CSI for 9months and also was the recipient of southern California auto technicians award for top five highest CSI scores in model years 1986-1991 in the state of California .
He has worked in all endeavors from repair and on site re-engineering to R&D to outsourcing and interfacing with factory and aftermarket representatives. Collectively in the aftermarket outsourcing and assembly and component allocation has been a passion in recent years, finding the best the market has to offer.
Tony is happily married going on 13 yrs, and enjoys spending time with his wife and hunting and fishing.
David has a very diverse background that will be a major contribution to Meridian Specialty Vehicles. He has over 20 years in the field and has held positions from technician, to fleet and facilities manager. He has working relations with Lexus, Chrysler, Jeep, Firestone and Loomis Fargo & Company.
David was raised in Freemont, Ohio near Lake Erie. He moved to Las Vegas in 2000. David enjoys fishing, hockey, off-roading and spending time with his family.
Del Littrell – Senior Product Engineer
Del Littrell brings over 30 years of successful Product Development and Engineering Management experience to the Meridian SV Team. His ability to think “ Outside the Box “ continually brings new product ideas and process improvements to help keep Meridian SV a leader in the Mercedes Sprinter Up-fitter market.
Del and his wife Karen have been married for 28 years. They have 4 very successful and happily married children with 11 Grandchildren.
When not visiting the Grandchildren, Del enjoys riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and creating stainless steel sculptures. He is also an avid University of Michigan football fan!
Jo Soveranes – Sales Support/Logistics Manager
Jo Soveranes is the Logistics Manager for Meridian Specialty Vehicles, Inc. As Logistics Manager, Jo has her hand in every aspect of operations at MSV and is a key player in “making things happen” both internally and externally. She is 100% committed to the Meridian philosophy of producing a world class product and providing a level of customer service that is nothing short of exceptional.
Jo comes to MSV with over 20 years of administrative, management, customer service and sales experience, most recently within the transport refrigeration industry as Assistant Branch Manager & Rental Manager for the local Carrier Transicold dealer.
Originally from New Mexico, Jo has called Las Vegas home since 2009 her daughters and grandson.
Shawn Duffy – Financial Controller
Shawn Duffy is the Financial Controller at Meridian Specialty Vehicles Inc. Shawn brings 19 years experience in Forecasting, Planning, and Analysis to guide Meridian Specialty vehicles in the design of efficient processes with the necessary controls. His background in industries as diverse as Pharmaceuticals, Trucking, Trade Shows, and Architecture & Construction brings a unique perspective to
complex business problems.
Shawn comes to Meridian Specialty Vehicles after spending 2012 combining the financial statements and tracking the costs in the merger between Medco Health Solutions and Express Scripts (2 Fortune 50 companies). At Medco, Shawn received the “President’s Award” for the dramatic improvements his project
team made in the return process for prescriptions in the Las Vegas pharmacy.
Shawn has a Finance degree from the University of Notre Dame and remains an ardent fan on the Fighting Irish.
Aaron Christensen – Product Designer
Aaron Christensen is the Product Design Engineer for Meridian Specialty Vehicles Inc. Aaron is a very hard working, quick learning, young CAD Engineer. He has four years of High School experience along with one year of study at the College of Southern Nevada.
In Aaron’s spare time you will find him expanding his knowledge of the field of work he is in, attending classes and workshops.
When he is not at work or in classes you will find him spending time with his six month old baby girl Audrina.
Judy Pearson – Office Manager
Judy Pearson is the Office Manager for Meridian Specialty Vehicles, Inc. As the office manager she is responsible for the smooth operation of the day-to-day business. Her attention to detail and tenacious nature make her an outstanding contributor to the administrative and organizational needs of the company. “A good office manager makes it possible for other people to function effectively and efficiently.” Judy is an avid bowler and likes to spend her free time with her husband and three dogs.
Merlene McDaniel – Accounts Payable Specialist
Merlene McDaniel is the Accounts Payable Specialist at Meridian Specialty Vehicles. Merlene brings 35 years of experience in Accounting and Accounts Payable. Her background in Hospitality, Manufacturing, Construction, and Automotive industries add a lot to her abilities in Accounting. “I strongly believe that communication is key. I have always treated my vendors with respect and honesty when it comes to their account. I want to make sure that their requests are answered quickly, accurately, and honestly. This helps us all to get things processed and paid as soon as possible.” In Merlene’s spare time, she loves spending time with her family, playing the piano, and anything around classic muscle cars and racing.
