Eco-Friendly

We built this demonstrator unit in part to showcase Meridian’s “Drop the Generator” focus.  This bookmobile features all of the amenities of larger units but draws its power for all-LED interior lighting, ventilation, side door power, Wi-Fi, and more from a bank of batteries powered by the sun!  Ample Air Conditioning and heating for the insulated cabin is powered by the Sprinter’s fuel-sipping 6-liter diesel engine OR from wall power at your scheduled stop.  When driving, you can enjoy an estimated 22 MPG and oil changes every 10,000 miles!  Every aspect of designing and building the Sprinter bookmobile was done with program savings and low carbon footprint in mind.
