Mobile Command Centers
Meridian can build a custom Mobile Command Center (MCC) on virtually any chassis type and in virtually any configuration—step-vans, commercial straight trucks, busses, sprinter vans and more. We are the only specialty vehicle manufacturer to offer the considerable savings and outstanding performance of refurbished chassis in our MCCs. Our MCCs are delivered as fully capable and operational units, ready to respond upon delivery. Generally, that means each unit includes:
• Emergency lighting and siren
• Scene lighting
• Awning(s)
• Generator
• Cellular and/or satellite internet and telcom capabilities
• PBX phone system
• Printer
• Fax
• High quality interior lighting
• Flat screen monitors
• Satellite television
• Galley
• Lavatory
• Conference room
• Climate control
Almost all of our units also include an extended parts and service warranty.

While all Meridian MCCs come equipped for duty, we're dedicated to creating a truly custom vehicle to perfectly serve each of our clients' specific mission. Clients may require upgrades ranging from mast-mounted infrared camera systems and weather stations to roof-mounted high capacity scene lighting or long-range Wi-Fi capabilities. While our technological savvy allows us to install state-of-the-art equipment, our response backgrounds and practical approach keeps us mindful of your budget. We'll never recommend expensive, flashy features that don't fit your purpose—we’ll always offer cost savings alternatives where applicable.
Why refurbished?
We think the real question is, why not refurbished? With our stringent refurbishing protocol, a remanufactured Meridian MCC is virtually indistinguishable from a brand new version: it looks the same, performs the same, and importantly, lasts just as long. But, the savings can shrink your price tag by up to 70%.
Refurbished vehicles save time, too: they can be built and customized substantially faster than their newer counterparts…in turn, increasing your savings.
Building your mobile command center
First, we only consider medium- to heavy-duty commercial chassis that have OVER 90% of their projected drivetrain mileage left. Vehicle candidates must first pass a DOT inspection before we subject them to our own more stringent mechanical and safety requirements testing. We accept only the highest quality chassis, rejecting many more chassis than we actually accept.

Once we choose the perfect chassis, it is completely stripped and reconstructed with all-new components. Depending on the client's unique needs and purposes, refurbishments range from a “simple” workspace to the most advanced satellite video broadcast systems.
